Stream mp4/3gp on mobile

Hi,

I installed DSS v5.5.5 on linux server and tried to stream a mp4/3gp file. I am able to stream the file correctly on my computer. however, when i try to stream the file on my mobile, i am able to see the total play time of the movie, but it does not load. Eventually, i get a server time out error. I tried to connect on my mobile using a wi-fi as well as gprs connection

Hi!

I was able to resolve the issue. It seems that DSS is not able to stream on mobile (though the documentation says). We need to have QTSS (QuickTime Streaming Server) to stream on mobile phones. QTSS can be installed only on a mac machine.

I give up my project, still no streaming videos on my mobile. How can it be so difficult to stream a video to a cellphone?
